Our padding is made of non-deformable polyurethane foam with different densities, covered with technical materials in polyester wadding of different weights and types. Some models are made with genuine goose down cushions, which gives the product a natural softness.
This softness is not a defect but one of the qualities that characterizes the product.
Packaging and transportation may cause temporary deformations on some parts. To remove them, simply smooth the surfaces with your hands and, if possible, fluff the cushions.
In the first three months of use, the polyurethane foam filling tends to soften and then stabilize permanently.
When sitting for the first time, the pressure exerted on the seat causes the breaking of the microcells that make up the polyurethane.
This phenomenon, which is entirely natural for this material, results in a slight softening of the seat.
The softness of the polyurethane foam-padded seats and backs may vary from other elements of the sofa, depending on their specific function.
Once the filling has settled, light wrinkles may appear on the covering: these are normal signs, due to the natural adaptation of the material, including leather, during the first months of regular use.
